CNP Schools is adding space on the school website for teacher information. At the current time some information is on the school website. The web address is www.cnpschools.org/westfall. You can reach the information by clicking CURRICULUM on the left side of the screen. Then click KINDERGARTEN CURRICULUM for kindergarten information. Soon you can go to FACULTY and click my name and it will take you to my classroom information. Until that happens I will update this site.

The Kindness Pledge I pledge to myself, on this day.
We are building a city this year at Westfall. We are calling it Character Under Construction. Each classroom will be a storefront in the city. We are Mrs. Shay’s Safari Shop. We will be called the Marvelous Monkeys. Every week we will hunt for interesting facts about animals that correspond with the letter of the week. One website we will use is the National Geographic Kids website. The kids can visit this website at home to discover many things at home also. http://kids.nationalgeographic.com It would be neat for the kids to do some “research” at home and show the class what they learned. We will have a bulletin board in the class that is called “Did you know?” We will display what we have learned here. I also am looking into advancing our technology in kindergarten by helping the kids work on the computer to build presentations on animals of their choice. Let’s just say… We do not ‘”monkey” around with success! It is going to be an amazing year!
